But to the trained eye, the difference may become not too difficult to spot. But the real discussion stays on why a regular smoker should start using an electric cigarette.</p>
<p>Perhaps there had been a lot of speculation from regular cigarette lovers. You may not be a smoker yourself but surely, your friends who do smoke may have complained about the confusion brought about by a device called <a href="http://www.thesafecig.com/">electric cigarette</a>. There is no argument here, instead, there are simply points that should be appreciated even by a long-term regular cigarette smoker.</p>
<p>We are all familiar of the feeling when somebody has brought a new and refreshing idea better than ours. Our human instinct tells us immediately that we have become less intelligent when situations like this arise or whenever someone who has outlasted our abilities. The same goes when something we have always vied for becomes old and a new version comes along. In this case, we are talking about electric cigarettes that probably have gained new fans as we speak. It is new and still, most people are alienated by it. Even more people doesn’t have a clue what it’s for.</p>
<p>But for its manufacturers, its aim is to benefit regular smokers with a thriftier fulfillment to their smoking habits. On top of that, <a href="http://www.thesafecig.com/products.php">electric cigarettes</a> are there to iron out existing difficulties of smokers with their fight against withdrawal symptoms.  With the aid of this device, it can still provide smoking effects that a smoker would want to have, but at the same time, it can put the smoking habit to a minimum up to the point when the smoker have learned to overcome smoking temptations.</p>
<p>A lot of factors still may arise in facing the truth and effects of an electric cigarette but it always count if a person puts his goal on top of his list and just do what it takes to overcome the negative effects of smoking.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In my last edition of leadership we dealt with selection of leadership style, based on individual and organizational variables. Another way to look at leadership is to consider how it is used. We will now explore the leader&#039;s selection of the &#034;right&#034; approach to running an organization.</p>
<p>One way to deal with approaches to leadership is to consider builders and fixers.</p>
<p>Builders develop their teams or businesses to perform successfully. They are leaders that have long term vision. They build for the future. They are strategic thinkers. They foster understanding and commitment to their subordinates. They train others to work and to lead. Builders say &#034;I may be achieving the results but I need to make sure my folks understand and use all the available tools and skills to continue success.. My people must be prepared to face changing market conditions and to move on to places where those skills will be needed.&#034;</p>
<p>Workers from builders&#039; teams and companies can move to any market and easily adapt. They have been required to use and learn all the basics-even if they weren&#039;t critical to success at the time. As new leaders they will be able to teach the basic skills to their subordinates.</p>
<p>The performance curves of builders&#039; teams and companies show gradual, but generally steady improvement. Their efforts sustain success because their approach breeds subordinates who are capable and committed to perform, even in the absence of their leaders. Builders are mentors and the stabilizing influences on their teams or companies. They mold their companies and teams for success and when they move on they leave productive individuals that can maintain the momentum.</p>
<p>Fixers come into companies at a dead run and have an immediate impact on performance. Fixers don&#039;t lead. They push. They are short-sighted. They are tacticians. They work in the near term. They run their companies on the strength of their authority. They make people produce and perform without developing the understanding and commitment that builds for the future.</p>
<p>Fixers say, &#034;I&#039;m being successful now. That&#039;s what&#039;s important. Don&#039;t bother me with unimportant details.&#034; </p>
<p>Workers and subordinate leaders from fixer companies have trouble adapting to changing conditions in the market. They have to relearn how to make it in a tougher and forever changing market environment. The problems is compounded when the worker themselves become leaders. They suffer from the inability to teach and adapt.</p>
<p>The performance curves of fixers&#039; companies have a fast rise-time. Their results may be sustainable, however, because they are based on the presence of the fixer as the driving force. Fixers uses their people; they produce results; they make a name for themselves and then they leave. You have seen so many of them in corporate level executives. When a company needs an immediate impact they hire a fixer. When the fixer leaves the organization usually stops producing. When they leave the organization breathes a sigh of relief.</p>
<p>Builders sometimes use fixer tactics in approaching the task at hand. They know that all organizations need to be energized occasionally. A builder knows when to stop the fixer does not. A builder knows when to change his approach. A fixer either doesn&#039;t know when to change or can&#039;t adapt to the need for change.</p>
<p>As a senior leader you must remember that the operative phase is &#034;build for the future&#034; not &#034;fix&#034; for the future.</p>

<p>The International Organization for Standardization, or ISO, is a non-governmental organization that develops technical standards, contributing to making the development, manufacturing, and supply of both supplies and services, cleaner and safer. Providing government with standards regarding health and safety issues, they also promote fair trade between counties. We tend to take many things for granted; we always expect simple objects, like screws, to do the job that we intend them for. ISO ensures just that, and sets standards that make things better for all of our society, as a whole.</p>
<p>With a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, ISO is a network of standard institutes in 146 different countries. Dating back to 1947, ISO was created by 25 delegates who determined that a new international organization was needed &#034;to facilitate the international coordination and unification of industrial standards&#034;. Due to the fact that &#034;International Organization for Standardization&#034; would have different initials in different languages, it was decided to use a word derived from the Greek word &#034;isos&#034;. For this reason, no matter what country you are in, the short form of the organization is always ISO, which means &#034;equal&#034;.</p>
<p>To date, ISO has created nearly 14,000 international standards, covering things like agriculture, mechanical engineering, construction, medical devices and information technology developments. While the majority of ISO standards are geared towards certain products, ISO 900 and 14000 deal with quality and environmental management, and are considered &#034;generic management system standards&#034;. By &#039;generic,&#039; this means that they are a list of standards which all products and workplaces must meet, regardless of whether they produce a product or service, and regardless of where they are located. By maintaining customer regulations, as well as doing what they can minimize harmful effects on the environment, ISO standards help ensure that our world is a much better place.</p>

<p>As more lawyers commenced hiring legal help, the Yank Bar organisation formed the Standing Council on Legal help to help set the standard in the paralegal &#8211; lawyer relationship, job suggestions and other obligations associated with the paralegal, or legal help. The career field of paralegals started developing in the U. S. In the 1960s and 1970s as counsels started hiring the aides to help them with paper work, case inquiry and general needs. That council was formed in latter 1960s and today is made from both lawyers and pro paralegals. The Yank Bar organisation offers an authorization program to establishments that give courses in paralegal instruction which gives the bar association the chance to set standards in the education of legal helpers. There are many major state pro setups for paralegals in the US, as well as their illustration in the Yank Bar organisation. Some of those associations have helped form the career field of the paralegal, or legal helper. The NFPA favors use of the word paralegal while NALA favors the term legal aid.</p>
<p>The Yank organisation for Paralegal Education ( AAfPE ) is an organization of establishments and teachers of paralegal education schemes.</p>
<p>The organization tries for consistent paralegal education standards. A new organization for paralegals commenced in 2003 and quickly started setting standards in the legal helper field. The American coalition of Paralegals serves people. Members in the Yank coalition of Paralegals are required to meet certain educational or work experience guidelines to be a voting member. The organization was the 1st state organization for paralegals to get involved in setting minimum tutorial standards and guidelines. If you&#039;re a paralegal hoping to gain membership in a state pro organization, do a little research to see what kind of associations are standard to your area. The nation&#039;s associations will probably have state and regional groups meeting in your neighborhood, or a close-by area. Talk to other paralegals in your neighborhood to work out if they have pro membership in one of these associations. Ask about benefits and pro development coaching the affiliations offer.</p>
<p>If you are just entering a job as a paralegal or simply beginning coaching for such a job, see whether a pro membership will help you in your career plans.
